Mobile World Congress is the world’s largest gathering for the mobile industry, with attendees at the event last year surpassing the 100,000 mark.

For anyone in mobile and telecoms, this four-day long trade show is of huge importance.

We are supporting eleven clients at the show, and have secured a record ten speaker slots for CEOs and Co-Founders on topics ranging from the UN Sustainable Development Goals to operator monetisation strategies. The past six weeks (and more) have seen a flurry of story development, research, pitching and interview scheduling as we race towards the finishing line.

For many of us in Telecoms PR, 90% of the work is done in advance. Which leaves some time to make the most of being physically present in the beautiful city of Barcelona. And the parties, of course.

But where to start? For those less in the know, the number of events taking place on the fringe of MWC can prove a little overwhelming.

Which is why we’ve done a brief round up of the best parties and events to go to at Mobile World Congress 2017:
