8th June 2010, London – CCgroup’s specialist telecoms team continues to prosper and has made two significant additions to its senior staff to support its growth.
Duncan McKean joins CCgroup with over 12 years of technology and telecoms PR experience with agencies including AxiCom and Porter Novelli. As account director, Duncan will provide strategic oversight on a number of clients including Syniverse, Tellabs, and GyPSii. Duncan will also develop the agency’s operational procedures with managing director Richard Fogg, and support new business efforts with associate director Paul Nolan.
Howard Jones joins from MiLiberty, where he worked with clients such as Qualcomm and Airwide. At CCgroup Howard will play a pivotal senior account manager role with clients including AIRCOM and the GSM Association.
“We’ve fervently maintained our focus on the highly specialist telecoms market and this strategy has paid off. Despite a global recession, CCgroup has managed to outperform other agencies in our sector,” said Richard Fogg, managing director, CCgroup. “Duncan and Howard’s deep experience and strong industry relationships will ensure that we continue to grow and offer our clients specialist market knowledge. We’re delighted to have Duncan and Howard with us.”
Duncan’s experience is built on numerous local and international communications programmes for clients such as Hewlett Packard, IBM, ARM and Nortel, amongst many others. He specialises in developing strategic positioning and messaging for his clients.
With six years of telecoms and technology experience, Howard has acted as a PR consultant for technology companies in the US, UK, India, China and across Europe, and on campaigns in the mobile, fixed line telecoms, optical transport and semiconductor industries. In 2008, Howard was a winner in the CIPR’s Midlands Outstanding Young Communicator award.
